President Director of Indonesia Re Teaches Students of SMKN 1 Mamuju
President Director of PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama, Frans Y. Sahusilawane, teaches students of SMK Negeri I Rangas Mamuju, West Sulawesi in a series of the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri Program.
"This activity is to provide knowledge about the world of insurance, so that students can understand and realize the importance of insurance," said Frans at the "BUMN Mengajar" activity at SMK Negeri I Rangas, Mamuju, West Sulawesi, Tuesday.
According to Frans, in addition to providing an understanding of insurance, it is also to share experiences and motivate students to advance in education and later gain jobs that benefit for many people.
In particular, the "BUMN Mengajar" activity was carried out by three SOEs, namely PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama, Perum LKBN Antara and PT Garuda Indonesia in Mamuju Regency at different schools.
"Through this activity, we hope to boost student motivation and foster self-confidence in order to achieve success it must be initiated seriously from an early level," he said while adding that this motivation is not only for students in West Sulawesi, but for students in Eastern Indonesia.
Frans said that the teaching activity itself is an effort to bring SOEs closer and present as an extension of the government so that they can be present in the midst of society.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMK Negeri I Rangas, Mamuju, appreciated the presence of the President Director of PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama at his school.
"The presence of the President Director of PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama certainly provides positive inspiration, especially for vocational school students and KTI students in general," he added.
