Jakarta (ANTARA) – Celebrating its 35th anniversary on November 30th, 2020, President Director of Indonesia Re, Kocu A. Hutagalung, reflected back to the main value of the company, which is to contribute in reducing the national balance of payments deficit.

“It is our aim to continuously take an active role in assisting the government in reducing the national financial balance of payment deficit, especially in the reinsurance sector. As a state-owned enterprise, we also hold strategic and essential objectives to strengthen Indonesian economy for the welfare of Indonesian people,” explained Kocu in his speech.

Kocu continued that due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the year 2020 has been a challenging year for almost everyone all over the world. With sincere intentions, strong commitment, and all employees expertises, he is determined that all goals will be achieved as planned.
 ”Teamwork is our company’s strongest value in achieving our goals,” Kocu stated.

Kocu also explained that the 35th anniversary theme 'Re Imagine The New Normal: This Too Shall Pass' will be a momentum for Indonesia Re’s employees to reflect and evaluate whether what they have done is suitable for present situation or is enough for the future.

“We reflect back on all our operations and I believe we will innovate new ways to succeed more in the future,” said Kocu in his closing statement.
