Indonesia Re Wins the Most Social Media Blast award at the IBD Expo 2018

 
Surabaya (Antara News) – State-Owned reinsurance company, Indonesia Re, managed to bring home one award from the awarding session of the IBD Expo Award, the state-owned category with the third most Blast Media at the IBD Expo 2018 that was held at Grand City Surabaya, East Java, on the October, 3-6  2018.
 
Meanwhile, the first and second place winners in the Most Blast Media category were Perum Peruri and Jasa Marga.
 
PR Group Head Indonesia Re, Septi Triwidiana Dewi, said this award was a form of appreciation for her efforts to help promote the IBD Expo 2018 on a number of social media accounts for this state-owned company.
 
"This is our support to socialize the 2018 IBD Expo," said Septi.
 
As a state-owned company engaged in the reinsurance sector, Indonesia Re is quite active in managing their social media to introduce the role of reinsurance for the national economy.
 
In simple terms, reinsurance is a company that insures an insurance company. Reinsurance has a fundamental role. So if an insurance company does not insure their premiums, the insurance company has the potential to go bankrupt because of the large risk of claim expenses.
 
As a company appointed by the government to become the National Reinsurance Company (PRN), the party is at the forefront in realizing a healthy insurance industry so that it is able to support the pace of the national economy.
 
"Because in the end of the day, the beneficiaries are end users or customers of the insurance company itself," she added.
 
At the IBD Expo 2018, Indonesia Re presented two of their Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) partners, namely the dairy cow and coffee farmer groups. The two MSMEs originating from Malang, East Java, both displayed their coffee and dairy products.
