Indonesian Life Insurance Claim Forum II, Claim Abuse & Fraud, Current Claim Experience, Prevention & Solution
Cisarua Bogor, Indonesia Re once again held a discussion forum between life insurance claim analysts throughout Indonesia. The event which will be held every year means to build cooperation among claim analysts in determining Claim Payment and understanding the behaviour of the insured in making a claim.
In his opening remarks, Bambang Irianto, Life Reinsurance Claim And Administration Division Head, represented the main director of Indonesia Re, said that the purpose of holding the event was as a means to increase the professionalism of claim analysts in conducting claim research as well as a means of sharing experiences among participants in facing problems that arise in the claim process.
In another part of his speech, Bambang Irianto also conveyed, Indonesia Re in the near future will build a large database, which will become experience data to identify risk profiles and the insured, therefore it is hoped that the ceding company can send complete data and no more non-reporting data. This risk profile, which is processed from the database, will be returned to the ceding company. This will be the basis for decision making.
The Indonesia Life Insurance Claim Forum II was attended by 60 participants representing 42 Life Insurance Companies in Indonesia. The event which lasted for 2 days was held at the Syailendra 1 Ballroom, Pesona Alam Puncak, Cisarua Bogor. This event is also a form of Indonesia Re's commitment to improving the capability of Indonesian Insurance's human resources.
