Capacity Building for Indonesia Re Foster Partners – PT Gelar Mapan Sejahtera


Yogyakarta, 7 April 2017. Capacity Building for Indonesia Re Foster Partner – PT Gelar Mapan Sejahtera was officially opened on April 5, 2017 by Group Head of CSR & PKBL Indonesia Re, Fredi Aris Setiawan, and Commissioner of PT Gelar Mapan Sejahtera, Yudi Ivana. In his remarks, Fredi explained the obligation of Indonesia Re, as one of the SOEs in Indonesia to channel funds set aside from the Company's profits for Partnership Program and also Community Development (BL) for the community, especially SMEs in Indonesia so that they can develop and be independent.

This capacity building program was held for the first time for fostered partners of Indonesia Re, at the Prawirotaman Gallery Hotel, Yogyakarta. The event, which took place from April 5-7 2017, was attended by 40 participants/ partners. Indonesia Re's fostered partners are divided into 4 groups, namely the goat husbandry program cluster, the tilapia program, the catfish program, and the jeep rental program located around the Special Region of Yogayakarta and Central Java (Boyolali). This program is part of the coaching carried out by Indonesia Re and PT Gelar Mapan Sejahtera in providing non-technical training to fostered partners.

As the speaker, Agus Irawan gave several presentations consisting of several topics, among others, Group Dynamics & Leadership and followed by The Renteng System of Responsibility that was delivered from noon to evening. The material delivered on the first day was basic leadership and motivated to all fostered partners, interspersed with games. Material on Entrepreneurship and Household & Business Financial Management was delivered on the 2nd and 3rd day. Agus Irawan himself delivered a topic on Business Development and Problem Solving & Decision Making.
