Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia Re Labor Union administered a socialization on the revised Joint Working Agreement, legitimated last January 2019, to all his employees.

Kocu A. Hutagalung, President Director of Indonesia Re, said that with the revised JWA, Indonesia Re’s managements are hoping that Indonesia Re Labor Union will become the role model for other state owned enterprises.

“Labor Union has to be a partner, not just in contextual form, but a true partner to the management and together achieve the company’s goals,” he added in Jakarta, on Friday, December 20, 2019.

Presidium of Labor Union for Indonesia Re, Maulana Bachtiar expressed his appreciation to the management’s good intention in accommodating the employees’ needs. He also pointed out the most significant change in the JWA is related to the improvement of employees’ welfare.

“There are additional incentives for glasses replacements, leave regulations, and many more. We are grateful that the management is paying great concern in improving the employees’ welfare,” he said.
Meanwhile, the representatives of  the BUMN Synergy Workers Union Federation, Iir Syahril Mubarok who were also invited to the event, reminded that the JWA still needs serious supervision in its implementation.

“With Indonesia Re Labor Union’ goal to be a role model, there has to be collateral support from both sides, the Labor Union and Indonesia Re management. They both have to make sure it is implemented properly and  no dispute,” he concluded.
