BUMN Synergy: Table Tennis Friendship Match Indonesia Re - TELKOM

(Jakarta, 1/3) PT. Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) or commonly called Indonesia Re, held a table tennis friendly match with PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. (TELKOM). This competition was held in the parking area of the Indonesia Re Building which was used for the training of the Baporsi table tennis team (Badan Pembina Pendidikan dan Seni) Indonesia Re.
The TELKOM table tennis team consists of 7 players, including one female player who competed in mixed doubles against team Indonesia Re. Representatives of PT. TELKOM, Hikmatullah Insan Purnama said that since the last few years, TELKOM has recruited employees who are professional athletes, one of which is the table tennis athlete who competed in the Asian Games last year, Ficky Supit.
The man who is the Chairman of the TELKOM Group Sports also said that the TELKOM table tennis team in particular routinely held friendly matches and participated in other competitions, one of which brought them First Place in BUMN PORSENI 2018.
In the interview, Hikmatullah also hopes that sports activities can create a work life balance for TELKOM employees so that they can improve employee and company performance in the future, and can widen business networking between companies.
At the same occasion, Director of Finance and Human Resources for Indonesia Re, Imam Bustomi also welcomed this friendly match. Next month, a friendly match for the Badminton branch will be held between the Badminton Indonesia Re team and the Badminton team from the Ministry of BUMN.
"I hope that with this sport, employees can lead a more interesting life, not just work alone, and improve their work performance. This will lead to the improvement of company performance," he concluded.
