Six State-Owned Companies Open The Yogyakarta - Central Kalimantan SMN Program 2018

Yogyakarta, (Antaranews Jogja) - Six state-owned companies (BUMN), namely PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) or Indonesia Re, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI), PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Persero) or Askrindo and PT Danareksa (Persero) conducted the opening and handover of The Siswa Mengenal Nusantara (SMN) 2018 program for the province of Yogyakarta and Central Kalimantan. 
Angkasa Pura I, Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia Re, KBI and the Department of Education, Youth & Sports of the Province of Yogyakarta permitted 23 outstanding students from SMA / SMK / SLB and equivalent stages, 2 exemplary teachers, and 2 assistant teachers for students with special needs, to take part in the Yogyakarta - Central Kalimantan SMN Program 2018.
The activity is part of the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri campaign that was held in the Yudhistira Room, Mataram City International Convention Center, Yogyakarta, (11/8).
 
The event was attended by Director of Human Resources & General Angkasa Pura I Adi Nugroho, Main Director of KBI Fajar Wibhiyadi, Director of KBI Agung Rihayanto, Director of Danareksa Bondan Pristiwandana, General Reinsurance Customer Experience Management & Administration Division Head Indonesia Re Arie Surya Nugaraha, General Manager of Garuda Indonesia Representative Yogyakarta Jubi Prasetyo, Regional Leader of Central Java Askrindo I Putu Aprianto, General Manager of Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport Agus Pandu Purnama, Secretary of the DI Provincial Education, Youth and Sports Office Yogyakarya Triwidiyatmoko and the 104 Education Squadron Commander (Danskadik) Adisutjipto Lt. Col. Pnb. M. Sugiyanto.
  
In the program, Angkasa Pura, Coordinator/ PIC Yogyakarta together with Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia Re and KBI as a co-PIC BUMN accepted 23 high school/ vocational/ SLB high achieving students, 2 exemplary teachers and 3 accompanying teachers for students with special needs from Central Kalimantan whom have been selected and sent by Askrindo and Danareksa as PIC for the implementation of SMN in Central Kalimantan.
 
The participants were invited to get to know BUMN PIC & CO. PIC DIY, take part in learning about State Defense with the Indonesian Air Force Adisutjipto, learn about E-Commerce, attend journalistic writing training and visit cultural & historical places in Yogyakarta.
 
Angkasa Pura I, Indonesia Re, Garuda Indonesia and KBI provided assistance in the form of books for SMA N 6 Yogyakarta library and Sanggar Anak Alam Yogyakarta. SMN students from Central Kalimantan will also be invited to contribute to the preservation of nature and the environment by releasing turtles at Pelangi Beach, Bantul Regency.
 
Students from DIY during the SMN Program in Central Kalimantan Province will be invited to visit historical places and tourist attractions in the city of Palangkaraya. Students will take part in learning about State Defense with the TNI, training on E-Commerce, and will provide training on Orangutan rehabilitation with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) organization.
 
"The SMN program is carried out thanks to the good synergy between state-owned enterprises as well as a joint commitment to support BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri in the education aspect for the younger generation. Through the SMN program, it is hoped that to foster a sense of love and pride in students for various cultural, natural, historical and cultural wealth. Indonesia has regional potentials in this case, especially Yogyakarta and Central Kalimantan Province, "said Director of Human Resources & General of Angkasa Pura I, Adi Nugroho.
 
"Hopefully this exchange between Yogyakarta and Central Kalimantan students can foster intimacy, a high sense of nationalism and add insight to students," added the Director of Danareksa, Bondan Pristiwandana. Secretary of Yogyakarta Education, Youth and Sports Office Triwidiyatmoko appreciated the synergy of six state-owned enterprises in the SMN program.
 
"The SMN Program is a very good activity for the young generation of the archipelago. Enjoy the city of Yogyakarta for students from Central Kalimantan Province and have fun being good guests for the students who are going to Palangkaraya," said Triwidiyatmoko.
