Indonesia Re sent off participants from SMN Yogya to Central Kalimantan

Jakarta (Antara News) - State-owned reinsurance company, Indonesia Re, together with PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI), officially released the participants from Siswa Mengenal Musantara (SMN) 2018 Yogyakarta to Central Kalimantan (Kalteng) Province on August 11th 2018 at Hotel Alana Yogyakarta.
 
General Reinsurance CEM and Administration Division Head Indonesia Re Arie Surya Nugraha revealed that through this program it is hoped that students can get to know more about the culture in Indonesia.
 
"We hope that this activity is sustainable and more comprehensive, and can involve more students as future leaders of the nation," said Arie in Jakarta.
 
Through this activity that are part of the 'BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri' program, Indonesia Re collaborates with five other BUMNs, namely PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI), PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Persero), and PT Danareksa (Persero).
 
Together with the Yogyakarta Provincial Education, Youth & Sports Office, the six other state-owned enterprises, sent-off 23 outstanding students from SMA / SMK / SLB and equivalent institutions, two exemplary teachers and two assisting teachers for students with special needs in Yogyakarta Province to take part in the 2018 SMN program to Central Kalimantan Province.
 
During the SMN Program in Central Kalimantan, students from Yogyakarta will be invited to visit historical places and tourist attractions in Palangkaraya. They will also participate in learning to defend the country with the TNI, E-Commerce training, and be provided with orangutan rehabilitation training with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) organization.
 
"Archipelago insight with the TNI on August 13-14. Then there will also be insight into entrepreneurship and others," added Arie.
 
 Apart from sending off the 2018 SMN participants from DIY, in the event they also received 23 high school/ vocational /SLB outstanding students, two exemplary teachers and three assistant teachers for special needs students from Central Kalimantan Province, who have been selected and sent by Askrindo and Danareksa as BUMN implementing SMN in the province of Central Kalimantan.
