Fighting Covid-19 together, Indonesia Re donated hundreds of PPE to a number of hospitals

Supporting efforts to fight the Covid-19 outbreak in the country, state-owned reinsurance company, Indonesia Re, contributed to donating 500 units of personal protective equipment (PPE) and four units of rapid disinfectant booths (BDC) to a number of hospitals in Jakarta and Bogor.
Corporate Secretary Indonesian Re, Mardian Adhitya, stated that the delivery of PPE and BDC will be carried out in several stages from April 16 to April 25 2020.

"As we know, so many hospitals lack PPE. This is why we want to donate PPE and BDC to a number of hospitals located near our office," said Mardian.

A total of 250 PPE units were donated to Fatmawati Hospital, 100 units for Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital and 50 units for RSPG Cisarua, Matraman Hospital, Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital and Rawa Lumbu Hospital. Meanwhile, 4 BDC units were donated to Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, Tebet Hospital, and Matraman Hospital.

To ensure the protection and safety of all Indonesian Re employees from exposure to Covid-19, the company has implemented Covid-19 protocol, which includes checking body temperature for all employees / guests, providing hand sanitizers throughout the office environment, spraying disinfectant regularly, and implementating work from home policies.

Whether there is an employee or employee's family who status becomes ODP, PDP, or even a confirmed positive patient, the employee will be asked to immediately call the COVID-19 hotline (119 ext 9) and attend to a referral health facility," he concluded.
