BUMN MUDIK: Indonesia Re send 500 travelers to their home towns

 

 

 


 
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The state-owned reinsurance company, Indonesia Re, officially released the departure of travelers at the 2019 SOE Homecoming Together event at Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Thursday.
 
In this year's free homecoming activity, IndonesiaRe sent 500 homecoming participants by bus and ship transportation modes. The number has increased from the previous year.
 
"Compared to last year, the quota of participants this year were added by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise. The previous quota was only 411 people and now adds to 500 people, "said Head of Corporate Secretary Division Indonesia Re, Novis Asria.
 
The free homecoming program themeed "Mudik Bareng Asyik Lancar" is a yearly activity participated by all State-Owned Enterprises.
 
On this day, 250,000 participants travelled home by 3000 buses to several cities in Indonesia.
 
 Novis explained that the Company sent 40 travelers home to Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, tomorrow, on May 31, 2019, as many as 460 participants will depart using sea transportation.
 
"For today, we dispatched 40 participants using buses destined for Yogyakarta, while tomorrow we will dispatch the remaining 460 people using ships destined for Surabaya and Makassar," he explained. 
 
PKBL and CSR Group Head Indonesia Re, Fredi Aries Setiawan, added, to improve the safety of travelers during the trip, the Company through its subsidiary, PT Asuransi Asei Indonesia, provides personal accident insurance to the travelers.
 
"Jasa Raharja has provided insurance, however we provide additional personal accident insurance for the participants. They will be covered from today until the next 7 days, so that the insurance is still covered until Eid", Fredi explained. 
 
 In addition, Fredi noted that by participating in and supporting activities like this, Indonesia Re can introduce itself as well as provide benefits to the wider community.
 
On the same occasion, State-Owned Enterprise Minister, Rini Soemarno, felt proud and touched because this year the BUMN motto "Hadir Untuk Negri " was carried out with the participation of 104 State-Owned Enterprise companies participating in this activity.
 
"I feel very proud and touched. Previously, only 62 companies participated in this program, but this year it has increased drastically to 104 state-owned companies participating in this activity. This proves that the BUMN motto is well carried out."
