Commemoration of the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day in Kulon Progo with BUMN Companies

(Jakarta, (24/8). In commemoration of the 73rd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, PT. Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) or Indonesia Re together with PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) and PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia or KBI carried out a series of activities for the people of Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta in the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri program. This year, Angkasa Pura I was appointed as PIC for the BUMN Untuk Negeri program with Indonesia Re, Garuda Indonesia and KBI as Co PIC.
Beginning with a flag ceremony at the Palihan Village Hall, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta on Friday (17/8), which was attended by the President Director of Indonesia Re, Frans Y. Sahusilawane; President Director of Angkasa Pura I, Faik Fahmi; President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Pahala N. Mansury; Director of KBI, Fajar Wibhiyadi, and Regent of Kulon Progo, Hasto Wardoyo. The event was then proceeded with various entertainment and competitions joined by the surrounding community.
On the side-lines of the event, symbolic CSR assistance was also given to the Kulon Progo community in the form of electrification for 100 houses, 70 toilets in ten villages, clean water facilities in 2 villages for 4 families, repair of facilities and infrastructure in 2 elementary schools, provision of scholarships for 30 students, and the construction of reading gardens in Sleman and Kulon Progo Regencies.
