With 27 years of experience managing national insurance data, BPPDAN is supported by skilled and experienced human resources.
BPPDAN is also working with FMIPA Bandung Institute of Technology to develop a Property Insurance Tariff Methodology in Indonesia.
In its duty to form National Statistical Data, BPPDAN works by implementing mandatory sessions that is set in the Decree of the Director General of Financial Institutions No. 2149/LK/2004 dated May 24th 2004 and Addendum No. 5443 /LK/2004 dated October 25th 2004 regarding the mandatory treaty session.
The mandatory treaty session is 2.5% of the sum insured or a maximum of IDR 500,000,000 for each risk. The mandatory treaty session received by BPPDAN is then processed by Indonesia Re, who also functions as an administrator for conventional property insurance data and Reindo Syariah for Islamic property insurance data.
Through its journey, the number of mandatory treaty sessions is not always 2.5% of the Sum Insured or a maximum of IDR 500,000,000 for each risk, but it changes according to existing regulations. The development of the number of mandatory sessions can be checked in the table below.
